Notes about the Church Congregational sect members founded a chapel in Great Yarmouth as early as 1643, the sect had various meeting places over the years in Gaol Street, Middlegate and Greyfriars Way before settling on East Street. As part of general church reorganisation they eventually merged into the United Reform Church in King Street.
